Webhosts:
- Bluehost- I have used Bluehost for many years as my webhost. Inexpensive and reliable.
- Hostgator – One of the most popular and feature packed webhosts available. I also use them for my websites.
Favorite WordPress Plugins:
- EZ Backup Plugin – Backing up your website is a must. This makes it easy.
- Fast and Secure Contact Form – Simple and effective contact forms. Essential for letting your site visitors reach you.
- Google XML Sitemaps – This just works. Do it.
- Headspace2 – Very useful plugin. Allows you to set meta tags and also apply Google Analytics. Another must have plugin.
- NexGen Gallery Plugin – The best gallery plugin for WordPress. If you are showing your photographs (which you should) then you need this plugin.
WordPress Themes:
- Ithemes - Designed for business.
- One theme – Very easy to use theme and well organized.
- ProPhoto Blog Theme - Designed specifically for photographers. A bit pricey, but worth it.
- StudioPress Themes – Great for business.
- Woo Themes – A good variety and nice to look at.
- WordPress Free Themes – Not the fanciest or prettiest, but they are free.
- WP-Remix Theme – Very versatile and flexible.
SEO Tools:
- SEO Plugin for Firefox – Very handy plugin for analyzing your site (and that of your competitors)
